Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) - Respiratory Therapy
Provides quality respiratory care, under the general direction of the Supervisor of Respiratory Services - applicant must be able to work various shifts - days, nights, weekends
Education Required: Graduate of an Accredited Program
Experience Required: RT and MediTech experience preferred
Licensing, Certifications and/or Registrations:
Kentucky Respiratory Care License, BCLS and ACLS (completed within orientation period)
Neonatal Resuscitation certified
Certified CPR, PALS, NALS
Working Conditions, Hazards
and Physical Effort:
• Works in a well lit, ventilated & air conditioned area
• Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights & sounds
• Long periods of standing, walking, stooping, heavy lifting & bending are required
• Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain & assault
• Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, radiation & antineoplastic agents
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently
