Physical Therapy Assistant - Physcial Therapy
Job Summary: Application of a variety of modalities and procedures under the direction of the Physical Therapist to improve a person's mobility, strength, balance, coordination and pain while giving that person the highest level of function possible. The Physical Therapy Assistant assists the Physical Therapist in the daily work for patients and the Physical Therapy Tech in addition to department office/clerical duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
-Associate Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited college
Experience:
- 1+ year preferred
Licensing, Certifications and/or Registrations:
- Successful completion of clinical affiliations as mandated by the KY State Board of Physical Therapy
- Must hold current KY license as a PTA
- CPR certification
