GlowPharm MedSpa and Wellness Clinic at Russell County Hospital is an upcoming destination for wellness, beauty, and rejuvenation, anticipated to open in early fall 2026. As an extension of the hospital, we will combine medical expertise with spa-level care to offer a comprehensive approach to overall wellness. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help shape an exceptional experience for our future patients and guests.
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, consult, and perform aesthetic medical treatments including injectables, laser therapies, and other advanced procedures. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, precision, and an appreciation for aesthetics, with a strong commitment to patient safety, education, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform aesthetic procedures such as Botox/Dysport, dermal fillers, and other advanced injectables.
•Administer and oversee laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and other approved services.
•Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations, including medical history, treatment goals, and suitability for procedures.
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
•Prescribe medications, skincare regimens, and other treatments as clinically indicated.
•Provide pre- and post-treatment education, ensuring patients are well-informed about their procedures and recovery.
•Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
•Stay current on the latest advancements in medical aesthetics and participate in continuing education.
•Collaborate with the Med Spa team to foster a welcoming, professional, and results-driven environment.
Qualifications
•Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kentucky.
•Experience in medical aesthetics (injectables, laser treatments, skincare therapies) strongly preferred, training available for motivated candidates.
•Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, injection techniques, and aesthetic safety practices.
•Excellent patient communication, consultation, and education skills.
•Professional, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing patient evaluations and procedures.
• Frequent use of hands and fine motor skills for injections, clinical procedures, and examinations.
• Ability to bend, reach, and position patients as needed during treatments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for equipment, supplies, or assisting patients when necessary.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity for precise aesthetic and clinical procedures.
Mental & Cognitive Requirements:
• Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Strong clinical judgment to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care in aesthetic and wellness services.
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and aftercare.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in documentation, charting, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
