GlowPharm MedSpa and Wellness Clinic at Russell County Hospital is an upcoming destination for wellness, beauty, and rejuvenation, anticipated to open in early fall 2026. As an extension of the hospital, we will combine medical expertise with spa-level care to offer a comprehensive approach to overall wellness. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team and help shape an exceptional experience for our future patients and guests.
Position Summary
The Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic and relaxing massage treatments tailored to the needs of each client, while promoting overall health and wellness. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, professionalism, and maintaining the high standards of care expected within a hospital-owned medical spa.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, lymphatic, prenatal, and other specialty modalities (as certified).
•Conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs, preferences, and health concerns.
•Customize treatment plans to achieve desired outcomes while ensuring client safety and comfort.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and calming treatment environment in compliance with hospital and spa standards.
•Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or complementary spa services.
•Uphold all licensing requirements and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
•Work collaboratively with the Med Spa team to ensure seamless client care.
•Assist with promoting spa services and contribute to a positive client experience.
Qualifications
•Must hold a current Kentucky Massage Therapy License.
•1+ years of professional massage therapy experience preferred.
•Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a client-centered approach.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and arms with strength and endurance to perform massage techniques.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Mental & Cognitive Requirements:
• Ability to assess client needs and adapt treatments accordingly.
• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a client-focused environment.
