LAB TECH - Laboratory
Job Summary: Under the general to moderate direction of the laboratory directory performs a wide variety of laboratory analysis by methodologies that vary from basic and moderately complex to highly complex, according to established standards and procedures in order to obtain valid data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Utilizes and maintains high technology, scientific equipment and recognizes and resolves testing problems and invalid or inconsistent data.
Education Required: Bachelor of Science Degree (MT) (ASCP) or Associate Degree of Science MLT (ASCP). Completion of approved clinical rotations
Experience Required: Preferred, but not required
Licensing, Certifications and/or Registrations:
�ASCP registration as MT/MLT or eligible
�Note: If hired under eligible status, must successfully complete certification process for continued employment within 6-months of hire date
