GlowPharm MedSpa and Wellness Clinic at Russell County Hospital is an upcoming destination for wellness, beauty, and rejuvenation, anticipated to open in early fall 2026. As an extension of the hospital, we will combine medical expertise with spa-level care to offer a comprehensive approach to overall wellness. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Esthetician to join our team and help shape an exceptional experience for our future patients and guests.
Position Summary
The Esthetician will deliver professional skincare treatments tailored to each client’s needs while promoting overall skin health and beauty. This role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a warm, professional demeanor to ensure an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide a variety of esthetic services including (but not limited to):
oFacials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion
oWaxing, brow shaping, and lash services (as certified)
oAdvanced treatments (microneedling, light/laser therapies, etc., if trained)
•Conduct skin consultations to assess client concerns, skin type, and goals.
•Educate clients on skincare routines, medical-grade products, and treatment options.
•Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment.
•Adhere to all infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
•Document services and recommendations in compliance with hospital standards.
•Support team members in providing seamless, integrated patient care.
•Promote Med Spa services, retail products, and special events.
Qualifications
•Current Kentucky Esthetician License required.
•1+ years of esthetics experience preferred.
•Strong knowledge of skin analysis, cosmetic ingredients, and treatment techniques.
•Experience in medical spa or dermatology/plastic surgery setting preferred but not required.
•Excellent communication, customer service, and patient-care skills.
•Professional appearance and ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing treatments.
• Frequent use of hands and arms with dexterity for facials, extractions, and skincare treatments.
• Ability to bend, reach, and assist with patient positioning as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move equipment or supplies when necessary.
• Visual acuity and hand coordination for detailed skin analysis and treatments.
Mental & Cognitive Requirements:
• Ability to assess skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare products.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate clients and build rapport.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a client-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
