RN or CRT/RRT - Cardiac Rehab
Job Summary: A professional caregiver under the direction of the Manager of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation who utilizes the appropriate clinical process, professional standards, and physician orders to plan, provide, and direct patient care and education for patients and their families.
Education Required:
RN: Graduate of an accredited RN training program (ADN or BSN) OR
CRT/RRT: Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program
Experience Required:
One year of Med/Surg, cardiopulmonary, or related clinical experience preferred
Licensing, Certifications and/or Registrations:
•Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or current CRT or RRT credential with Kentucky licensure
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be completed within orientation period)
•Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be completed within orientation period)
Equipment/Special Skills:
•BGCS monitor
•Scales
•Hoyer lift
•Call system
•Bed alarms
•Vital signs & temperature checks

Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort:
•Works in a well-lit, ventilated & air conditioned area
•Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights & sounds
•Long periods of standing, walking, stooping, heavy lifting & bending are required
•Risks exposure to disease, infection, physical strain & assault
•Risks exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue and radiation
•Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently
