Laboratory Addition Building Project
Branscum Construction was awarded the bid on the RCH Lab Addition Project. This project will provide much needed space for the Laboratory. The current lab space is spread over three areas of the hospital and equals 800 + square feet. The new project is approximately 2,000 sf and will locate all Lab space in one area. Once completed the lab will have it's own entrance and parking area and patients will no longer have to access lab services by coming through our ER Admission area as they currently do. Patients can park close to lab and enter the lab area, be registered and have labs completed without having to travel the hospital corridors. The new lab will be located on the west side of the hospital in the space currently know as the gazebo area. Ground breaking on this project should be this Spring 2018 with an approximate one year to completion of new Lab space.
