Wound Care Center
If you have a chronic wound or a wound that won't
heal, we can help promote a quicker healing process
at our Wound Care Center. The Wound Care Center is
located at our Medical Arts Building and provides
services on an outpatient basis each Monday and Thursday
from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Through our Wound Care Center, we offer a number of
advanced techniques for treating chronic wounds. These
include:
- specialty dressings that maintain a moist healing
environment,
- compression dressings,
- debridement, and
- vacuum-assisted closure when appropriate
Your healthcare provider may refer you for services
at the Wound Care Center, or you may seek treatment
on your own. Wound care services are covered by Medicare
and Medicaid, and most private insurance companies
provide some degree of coverage.
