Heartburn Center
If you sometimes experience a burning sensation in
your chest or have a sour taste in your mouth, you could
be suffering from heartburn. While heartburn is a common
illness - affecting more than 60 million Americans -
it can also be a symptom of a more serious condition
called gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Through
our Heartburn Center, we can help your physician diagnose
heartburn or reflux disease and determine the best treatment
for you.
Our Heartburn Center offers non-invasive testing for
diagnosing heartburn and reflux disease, using cutting-edge
technology. While you don't have to have a physician's
referral to be tested, we do request that you complete
a free screening questionnaire to determine if you are
a candidate for services.
You may want to complete the free screening questionnaire
if you are experiencing these symptoms:
- chest pain, especially at night when lying down
- difficulty swallowing
- coughing, wheezing, asthma, hoarseness or sore throat
- regurgitated blood
- stool that's black
