Financial Assistance

Persons who do not qualify for Medicaid Assistance, have no insurance, and their income is at or below the Federal Poverty Guideline, may be eligible for the Disproportionate Share Hospital Program (DSH) which is a program of hospital care for Kentucky's indigent citizenry provided by Kentucky hospitals participating in the Kentucky Medicaid Program. An application can be picked up at registration, in the Business Office and on our website.

If you do not qualify for the DSH program we also offer a graduated discount program that falls between the federal poverty guidelines and 200% for Russell County residents and/or pay Russell County taxes.

Proof of income will be needed in order to make application for this assistance. This may be provided in the form of pay stubs, tax returns, or other documentation of your income.

Payment plans are also available by contacting the Financial Counselor, Carolyn Bledsoe at (270)866-8596 or Larisa Stocton at extension 501.
